Pelmeni (Pelmeni/ пельме́ни,) is a Russian-style dumpling whose name is derived from the original text of пельнянь meaning “ear bread”. Pimani dumplings are usually made of unfermented thin dough wrapped in ground meat, fish or vegetarian fillings.
